The Truth About True Love

 Hi There!

Let’s get straight to the point: Do you really love someone? I believe if you truly love someone you must have asked yourself, “Does true love win?” I really don’t know whether it’s true or not, but I have figured out something.

Let me tell you in a short story.

There was a boy who truly loved a girl. His love was pure and real. He believed in love, in destiny. He prayed to God every day, believing that true love always finds its way.

But there was something he didn’t know.

That same girl also loved someone else, just as deeply as he loved her. Her love was pure too. She also believed in love, trusted destiny, and prayed to God, hoping that one day she would get the person she loved.

Both of them, in two different corners of the world, were holding onto their faith, believing that true love always wins.

But life had other plans.

One day, the boy’s prayers were answered, and the girl came into his life. He was overjoyed. He smiled, looked up at the sky, and said to himself:

“True love always wins. God is real. Destiny always brings the right people together.”

But somewhere, in another corner, the girl was crying.

Because the person she truly loved wasn’t him. It was someone else, and she couldn’t be with that person. She looked up at the same sky and whispered:

“Love is a lie. God doesn’t listen. Destiny is unfair.”

Both loved truly. Both believed in love. But only one of them got what they wanted.

Tell me, “Was her love not true just because she didn’t get it?”

The Truth:

It is not necessary that true love will always give you the person you want.

But maybe, true love teaches you to love, even when you have to let go.
